Dodgers ace Kershaw likely to return against Colorado on Nov. 11

After being sidelined with a shoulder injury, Major League Baseball (MLB) ace Clayton Kershaw, 35, is expected to return this week.

“There’s a very good chance he’ll start against the Colorado Rockies on April 11,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told local media on Monday (April 8), according to ESPN.

One of the best pitchers of the 2010s, winning the Cy Young Award three times (2011-2013-2014), Kershaw hasn’t looked like the ace he once was since 2019, as he’s been plagued by frequent injuries.

Injuries limited him to just 22 starts in 2021 and last year, and he didn’t even complete a regulation inning.

Kershaw has bounced back perfectly this year. In the first half of the year, he started 16 games and went 10-4 with a 2.55 ERA.

However, on June 28 against Colorado, he was placed on the disabled list (IL) with shoulder soreness and hasn’t taken the mound since.

After missing the All-Star Game due to the shoulder injury, Kershaw expressed his desire to return at the start of the second half of the season, but a lengthy rehab stalled that plan.메이저놀이터

If Kershaw is able to return and showcase his pre-injury form, the Dodgers, who lead the National League West, will be able to build on their lead.
