‘School Day!’ DB in return for student support

School Day was held for the first time in 3 years. DB responded.

On the 13th, Wonju DB won 91-82 in a home game against 2022-2023 SKT Adot Professional Basketball Goyang Carrot held at Wonju Gymnasium.

Before the game, in a stagnant atmosphere, DB held the ‘School Day’ event scheduled for the 13th.

For the past 3 years, School Day has not been held due to the corona pandemic. Previously, School Day was an event in which about 1,500 school students in Gangwon-do visited the stadium to watch as a group. During the game, various events organized by students will also be held, such as school-specific court participation events, cheering matches, and Sangji Girls’ High School’s half-time cheerleading performances.

However, the depressed team atmosphere and the memories of not being able to laugh at the last school day weighed on the hearts of DB officials.

A DB official said, “This is an event not only for students who have completed the CSAT, but also for elementary, middle, and high school students in the province. As it is a day for students and it is the first event held in three years, we prepared a variety of things. However, with the recent team atmosphere and last School Day, I was very worried,” he said. 토토

On November 15, 2019, DB held a school day against KGC. DB started the fourth quarter in this game with a 66-59 lead, but was defeated by a final score of 77-78.

However, School Day, held after 3 years, was different.

Contrary to the worries of DB officials, DB reciprocated the passionate support of students in the province. They held the lead throughout the game and won 91-82. Observing the frenzied atmosphere at the home stadium, a club official breathed a sigh of relief.

There are many events that can be enjoyed and experienced at the basketball court, such as School Day. In addition to DB, KBL and each club are preparing various events at the stadium and skinship between fans and players for fans who continue to visit after the corona pandemic. I hope that many basketball fans will visit the stadium and make memories in the future.
